The Shrink was founded in 1997 and released their first record in 1998 on Dutch label Nutrition. After a sub-licensing to NEO Records UK, the first release “Nervous Breakdown” became a worldwide hit in more than 50 countries. It even reached the UK top 40.
In 2000 another UK top 40 hit followed with “Are You Ready To Party?” on Dave Pearce’s famous label NuLife/BMG.
In 2010/2011 The Shrink reached the number 1 for several weeks in the Music Week Upfront Club Chart and all other dance and Club charts in the UK with Nervous Breakdown feat MC Pryme and was licensed to Loverush Digital UK.
The Shrink played around the globe in its glory days. In 2006 The Shrink stopped performing and focused on producing.
